INGREDIENTS:
- Cauliflower - 1
- Onion - 1
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
- Curry leaves - 10
- Garlic - 2 (chopped)
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper powder - 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
PREPARATION:
- Wash and separate the cauliflower into florets. Cut them into medium sized florets.
- Add oil in a hot pan. Add mustard seeds. When it splutters, add curry leaves. (As I don't get curry leaves all the time, I am not using).
- Add garlic and mix well. Then add onions and mix well.
- Now add the cauliflower florets and mix well. Add salt. Close and cook in medium heat for few minutes sauteing occasionally.
- Add 1/4 cup water and cook stirring occasionally until the florets become transparent and tender.
- Add turmeric powder and cumin powder and mix well. Reduce flame to low heat.
- Add pepper powder. Mix well until all the wetness dries off.
