Cauliflower Pepper Stir-Fry recipe


INGREDIENTS:
  • Cauliflower - 1
  • Onion - 1
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Curry leaves - 10
  • Garlic - 2 (chopped)
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
PREPARATION:
  1. Wash and separate the cauliflower into florets. Cut them into medium sized florets.
  2. Add oil in a hot pan. Add mustard seeds.
    When it splutters, add curry leaves. (As I don't get curry leaves all the time, I am not using).
  3. Add garlic and mix well.
    Then add onions and mix well.
  4. Now add the cauliflower florets and mix well.
    Add salt. Close and cook in medium heat for few minutes sauteing occasionally.
  5. Add 1/4 cup water and cook stirring occasionally until the florets become transparent and tender.
  6. Add turmeric powder and cumin powder and mix well.
    Reduce flame to low heat.
  7. Add pepper powder.
    Mix well until all the wetness dries off.
