Taco recipe

INGREDIENTS:
  • Minced pork - 1 pound
  • Corn Rotis - 20
  • Tomato - 2
  • Onion - 1/2
  • Cilantro - half bunch
  • Lime - 2
  • Avocado - 2 (optional)
  • Oil
  • Red salsa
INGREDIENTS - SEASONING MEAT:
  • Chili powder - 5 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

PREPARATION:
  1. To the meat add chili powder, garlic paste and lemon juice, salt and mix well and leave it to marinate at least 30 minutes (You can leave the marinated meat in the freezer to use for another day too).
  2. Place the meat in a hot pan and saute it.
  3. Pour water so that the meat gets immersed.
    Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce flame and cook in medium heat stirring occasionally until the meat becomes tender and the water dries up.
    Remove from flame.
  5. Wash and chop the onions, tomatoes and cilantro finely. Cut the avocados and scoop and keep aside.
  6. Heat a tawa. Place the corn rotis on the pan.
  7. Brush oil on top of them and flip over and spread oil on the other side.
Cook both the sides until slightly golden.(if they get over cooked, they would become hard).
  8. Remove from tawa and place on a plate.
  9. Take the required number of rotis and place them side by side by slightly folding them. Scoop 1 spoon meat in each rotis. Add little onion, tomato, cilantro and avocado.
  10. Pour red salsa. Add few drops of lime juice.
  11. Hold on both sides of the rotis and place in your mouth. Such a mouth watering dish.
