Pita Pocket Recipe


INGREDIENTS:
  • Pita bread - 1
  • Hummus - 2 tablespoon
  • Lettuce - 2 leaves
  • Tomato - 1
  • Green Bell pepper - 1/4
  • Red Bell pepper - 1/4
  • Cucumber - a small piece
  • Sour cream or Yogurt - 2 teaspoon
  • Beef roast - /4 cup
PREPARATION:
  1. Cut all the vegetables into small pieces.
  2. Make small slices of beef roast.
  3. Break the pita bread into halves. Toast them.
  4. Open the cut ends so that it looks like pocket.
  5. Take 1 tablespoon of hummus and spread on one side of the pita bread.
  6. Stuff with few lettuce, bell peppers, tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of yogurt/sour cream, cucumbers, beef roast.
  7. To make it veggie, you can avoid the meat. You can you use tofu instead of meat.
P.S : Beef roast can be substituted with chicken roast.
