Long Beans Stir-Fry Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • Long beans - 1 bunch
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Oil-1 teaspoon
  • Curry leaves - 5
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Crushed garlic - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Coconut (grated) - 1 1/2 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
PREPARATION:
  1. Wash and cut the beans into fine pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Drop in the mustard seeds and let it splutter.
  3. Add curry leaves. Drop in the cut beans. Sprinkle salt to taste and saute it. Cook in low flame.
  4. Pour 1/4 cup water and cook sauteing often.
  5. When the beans is tender, add all the spices.
  6. Mix well and cook for another 3 minutes. Ready.
