INGREDIENTS:
- Chinese bitter melon - 2
- Onion - 1/2
- Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
PREPARATION:
- Wash and slit the bitter melons.
- Remove seeds. Cut them into small pieces.
- Cut the onion into small pieces. Pour oil in a hot pan. Add the cut vegetables to the pan. Saute and add salt.
- Cover and cook in low flame sauteing occasionally until the bitter melon becomes soft.
- Add turmeric, cumin powder and chili powder. Add salt if needed.
- Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
