Brussel Sprouts Stir-Fry |
INGREDIENTS:
- Brussel sprouts
- Oil
- Mustard seeds
- Urad dhal
- Cumin powder
- Garlic powder
- Pepper powder
- Salt
PREPARATION:
- Wash the Brussel sprouts.
- Cut them into halves and further finely chop them.
- Heat a pan. Pour 2 teaspoon of oil and add 1/4 teaspoon of mustard seeds.
- Once they splutter, add 1 tsp urad dhal and saute till it turns golden brown.
- Add the chopped sprouts.
- Add salt to taste and leave it covered to cook in low flame.
- Keep sauteing often so that it does not burn.
- Once the sprouts are soft add 1/4 tsp cumin powder, 1/4 tsp garlic powder and 1/2 tsp pepper powder.
- Mix well and let cook for 2 minutes. Turn off the flame.
